The Great Hall is probably the greatest hall of all time, and by far the most important one located within the confines of the castle. Well, come on, it is where the food is served, right? Amazing, delicious, food. Boy, can those house elves cook.

Okay, we all hate going to class, and even more, we hate homework, but face it - this is a school! All you gotta do is post a board, but be sure to post what class it is in the title. Oh, and feel free to use an empty class room for whatever you'd like.

No New Posts hallway to hell

In a school this massive, the halls can be a tricky thing to manage. They twist and turn up and around the castle, up to the top floor and down to the basement. Just be careful not to get lost. Or, you know, do something stupid like trip off of those tricky moving stairs.

Ah, the library. Full of books, paper, dust, and silence. But let's not forgot that there are tons of places to relax and read in solitude, away from prying eyes. Sure, not all of us use the library for studying, but where else are we suppose to do it? But please, no fire.

No New Posts great minds and great heights

Seeing as Ravenclaw represents knowledge and the broadening of young minds, it's only fitting that you have to answer a question to gain access into the tower, right? From the fat blue chairs to the domed, starry ceiling and statue of Rowena, this place is clearly a house of knowledge.

No New Posts it's where they "read"

It's no secret that the boys of Ravenclaw are pretty much total dorks. Would it shock you to find out that they read a lot? Other than that, I don't care to know what they do behind the curtains of their beds.

No New Posts them sneaky little bastards

Slytherin students are known for their ambition, cunning, and (let's face it) mad skill. The common room can be accessed through a rather naked stone wall in the dungeons with the help of a password, and through that door lies the eerie, green clad room that lies beneath the lake. If you think it sounds like a villains lair, no, you're not imagining it.

No New Posts not to be confused with moles

Take a stroll down to the basement and a left at the kitchens and you'll eventually find the entrance to the Hufflepuff commons - that is, if you have the password. With its yellow decor, low ceilings, and tunnel like halls, it just shouts, "Look at me, I don't belong anywhere else!"

No New Posts keep your hands to yourselves

They're the last of the American boys, and yes, we know they're English. But hey, what can we say, they're just genuine good boys. I mean, drugs were only found three times in the dorms last year.

If the boys are American, then these girls are... well, we don't know really. But hey, it was worth a shot. As far as we know, these girls hang around in their dorms doing... dorm stuff. Like sleeping, I guess.

No New Posts okay, you're right, chivalry is dead

They're brave, they're bold, and the keeper of their commons is a fat old lady trapped in a portrait. But hey, you can get in if you know the password. Admittedly though, it's like all the others really - chairs, a fire - only with a new color pallet. And yeah, we know, this description is lacking.

A few of these boys (we won't say any names, but they rhyme with Sames and Jirus) are a little cocky. I guess it's those big grand beds they get to sleep it. Newsflash boys, everyone has those beds. But hey, it could just be whatever they've put in their pipes that's causing such illusions of grandeur.

No New Posts where boys fear to tread

Maybe it's because they're the bravest, boldest, toughest girls in the school (so they claim), but these girls can be a menacing sort. Maybe it's that tricky boy-sensing staircase, or maybe it's the girls themselves, but whatever it is, the boys don't make much of an effort to get up there.

Ah, the lake. It's a popular place for the students to congregate in their off time and mingle with one another. And you've got to be there for the day the first years inevitably try swimming in the lake. It always ends horribly.

The Quidditch Pitch. Not just for Quidditch, admittedly. Think about it; there are the stands, under the stands, and of course the field itself. The stands are high up and just about out of the view of prying eyes, and under them are completely out of site (unless someone looks). The field itself isn't exactly subtle, but it's fun for playing Monkey in the Middle with someone else's wand, right?

We don't care how old you are, what House you're in, or even if you're an alien - you're bound to have a good time in Hogsmeade. Why? Because it's off campus, duh. It's like the rules don't even apply. Plus, you can stock up on candy, prank supplies, books, and whatever else you can manage to get your hands on in the village. Just don't go near the Shrieking Shack. Yeah, it's nice for the horizontal two step, but I wouldn't risk it if I were you.

For many young wizards and witches, Diagon Alley is the thrust to pop their magical cherry. It lets you know that you have arrived. All your back to school needs can be found here if you look hard enough (including down some shady lanes), so it's really no terrible shock to learn that this is the hard dose of reality incoming students need.

Okay, so we're nothing but Muggles on the outside (and the inside), but that doesn't mean we're not allowed to have fun too! No New Posts we're only human, sorta

Once upon a time, someone suggested we have a suggestion board. Of course, we killed him on site and he was never from again, but eventually we realized he had a point, so here we are. Got something to suggest? Go ahead. We'll do our best to pull it off, or at least find a common ground. But please, don't suggest that any member of the staff takes their top off. That's not something you want to see - trust us.

Things change, time moves on, and stuff dies, or we get bored with it and kill it off. If a thread is done with, you can find it in the finished threads file. Same for threads that are inactive for a month, only those are under closed. Oh, and if anyone is ever rejected or inactive for too long without a reason, they go here. Let's hope this graveyard isn't filling up too fast now.
